Spiritual Companioning and Ritual

I believe that spiritual companioning is being present with, listening to and hearing into speech. It is a time to attend to the presence of the Sacred in a person’s life and when appropriate, share insights and experience. It is a healing process since it leads to right relationship with self, others, the Holy One and the earth.

The Ritual Writing Group bring together their writing, music and/or theological skills to create inclusive rituals.
Members of the Ritual Writing Group have developed four liturgies:

Liturgy for the God of Space and Time
and some resources for In Times of Pain.
A Ritual Lament was held on 7 May 2003 to express our shame, anger and grief at our Government’s treatment of refugees and a further public Ritual Lament was held on 13 July 2003 at the Adelaide Festival of Ideas.
