Traditional Circle Dancing for Women 011

Lyn Porter

Dancing in a circle is one of the oldest ways people celebrate community and togetherness; life, love, the seasons and work. Modern circle dance evolved from the Findhorn Foundation in Scotland. It has a certain attitude of attention, awareness and respect that distinguishes it from traditional folk dance. The dances are easy to learn, instinctive and thoroughly explained. The group is friendly, welcoming and supportive.
