English Classes for Refugee Women 187
These classes provide English teaching for refugee women or other women not able to access other classes. Supportive tuition, plus child minding, with some transport available. Weekly lessons during school terms. Begins: 8/2, 10.30am-12.30pm Women NOTE: Volunteer drivers with own car are always required. If you are interested please contact Sophia, 8373 3781. Drivers are reimbursed for their petrol and need to be available between 9.30am and 1.30pm on a Wednesday, one or two times per term. People interested in being a tutor are also welcome to contact Sophia.
Circle Dancing for Health & Wellbeing 263Marisa Ala Dea A low-impact, joyful form of exercise, Circle Dance combines easy to learn dance steps and movements with uplifting music from around the world. All women welcome, especially beginners. Weekly during school terms.

Grief’s Journey 320Carolyn & Charmaine Grief’s Journey is a support group for young (under 50) widows and widowers. The group aims to provide people with support following the loss of a partner in a nurturing environment of shared experience and understanding.

Traditional Circle Dancing for Women 011Lyn Porter Dancing in a circle is one of the oldest ways people celebrate community and togetherness; life, love, the seasons and work. Modern circle dance evolved from the Findhorn Foundation in Scotland. It has a certain attitude of attention, awareness and respect that distinguishes it from traditional folk dance. The dances are easy to learn, instinctive and thoroughly explained. The group is friendly, welcoming and supportive.
