Daily Life
Daily Life at Sophia includes the work of volunteers:
- attending to general office tasks
- organising hire schedules
- promoting courses and events
- developing and maintaining this website
- publishing and mailing our regular Newsletter, Sophia Circulating
- and many spontaneous events that arise out of current happenings that call for a response from the Sophia community.
Daily Life at Sophia can also include:
- accessing our Library; and
- contributing to Wisdom’s Well-Springs
We would be pleased to hear from anyone interested in contributing to these activities.
Through the Sophia website, we are exploring new ways of being present in the wider community and of extending our networks. We want to tell you who we are, what we offer, what concerns us and what gives us cause to celebrate.
We also want to hear from you and together work towards creating a better world. This medium is a wonderful way to connect, to support each other and to take action together. In the Dominican Tradition from which Sophia is founded, we invite you to join us in weaving together a better world.
