Sophia aims to become financially self-sufficient by the year 2010, after being founded and generously supported by the Dominican Sisters since 1991.
The Sophia community generates an income from course fees, subscriptions, donations, Angel Fundraising, hire of the premises and special events. This covers much of the day to day running costs of Sophia which have increased each year.
