Sophia operates through the combined wisdom and work of a small staff, a team of regular volunteer staff members, with the assistance of many other volunteers.

Some of Sophia’s skilled and committed volunteers contribute to the programme available at Sophia - to courses and workshops, events and activities. 

Others are members of project and planning teams - from seasonal rituals to financial visioning.

More volunteers come to Sophia weekly to support administrative and financial work, to assist in the preparation and mailing of our regular newsletter and other information which is sent to all Sophia members, to maintain the Sophia website, to market Sophia, to welcome visitors and those hiring Sophia’s space, to garden and to prepare for special events.
