We are excited to hear that ten years after their first campaign to oppose the extinguishment of Native Title, Women for Wik are back, with determination to oppose the recent legislation regarding the NT indigenous communities. Sophia has endorsed them and we urge you to visit their website at www.womenforwik.org. Also see Links page.
The Sophia community has been sadly diminished recently by the death of Mara Lashchuk. Mara is known to many of us for the Enneagram courses she ran at Sophia. She also had an
impact on many through the monthly meetings of Enneagram SA. Her work as a grief counsellor and her involvement in the Palliative Care Unit at the Royal Adelaide Hospital were highly regarded. Our thoughts go out to her husband,
Karl, and her children.
